The Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida, Inc. was founded by a few devoted Sheltie enthusiasts in April of 1968.
Originally called the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Miami, Inc., the name was changed in 1990 to better reflect the growing membership from the tri-county area.
